More than 20 members of the HEC Montréal community are featured in a ranking that considers the international influence of scientists across all fields.

The ranking was compiled by a research team from Stanford University and the Dutch publisher Elsevier.

It is divided into two lists: one based on citations and impact indices for the year 2024, and the other for the past 25 years.

The current faculty members of HEC Montréal who appear in this year's ranking are:

Ranking Methodology

The base sample used for this ranking consisted of more than 8 million authors worldwide, across 22 disciplines and 174 sub-sectors, from both academia and the private sector. The final ranking included just over 230,000 scientists, representing the top 2% most influential in their research fields.
