Presented at the Annual Academy of Management Meeting, the Pasmore-Woodman Award recognizes researchers whose collaboration has produced original and innovative research that has informed organization development and change theory and practice.

A major part of the work conducted by Linda Rouleau and Julia Balogun focuses on the strategic role of middle managers in organization transformation processes, a field of research in which both professors have made significant and widely acknowledged contributions.

“I am delighted to receive this award with Julia, a long-time collaborator and friend. This recognition also means a lot to me because it highlights the role of actors who, though often barely visible, are still essential to the strategy and life of organizations. It also underlines the value of intellectual collaboration, as the most fruitful ideas rarely emerge in isolation: they develop through dialogue and joint efforts.”
