Meet the winners of the 2015 Research and Teaching Awards!

HEC Montréal saluted the excellence of faculty members on November 11 with its 2015 Research and Teaching Awards, presented thanks to support from the HEC Montréal Foundation

A total of 13 awards were presented during the evening, which began with remarks by Professors Emeritus Jean-Charles Chebat and Francine Séguin, followed by a tribute to those professors who have retired in the past year and who were officially granted the title of Honorary Professor. They are: Brahim Allali1 (Management), Jacques Fortin (Accounting Studies), Alix Mandron1 (Finance), Paul Mireault (Information Technologies) and Nhut Van The1 (Accounting Studies).

Assistant or guest professor without career potential Jean-Sébastien Marcoux (Marketing) The recipient constantly strives to improve his or her teaching performance, to create an environment conducive to students' intellectual development and to instil in them the desire to excel and work hard. The award winner is recognized by his or her peers and students as an exceptional teacher.

This award recognizes the quality of a textbook written in French by one or more professors, researchers, full-time faculty lecturers or full-time lecturers, and published during the year. To be eligible, the textbook must be intended for use in one or more courses.

Roger Charbonneau Award
