The School occupy 38th place in this prestigious ranking. HEC Montréal is the only French-language university institution in Canada to be included in this list.
“Our School is delighted to be ranked once again in the Case Centre Impact Index. This recognition is a testament not only to the excellence and global reach of our case studies, but also to the importance of collaborative work and pedagogical innovation on a global scale. HEC Montréal is honoured to contribute to this academic tradition, alongside many other world-renowned institutions.”
A method at the heart of the School’s pedagogy
Since 1976, HEC Montréal has promoted the use of the case study method as a valuable teaching tool in nearly all management-related disciplines. This method involves providing students with a real-life situation experienced within a company or organization and guiding them to propose solutions that address the issue presented in the case.
