Federico Pasin took on his new duties in June 2019, for a four-year term, as the 11th Director in the history of the School. In 2022, he was re-elected for a second term.
The Board of Directors adopts the rules and regulations required for the School’s proper administration and operations.
The Executive Committee examines all of the School’s operations, i.e. matters and decisions relating to the strategy, development and organization of HEC Montréal.
The Academic Council oversees all academic matters, in particular the organization of teaching and research; study programs and the disciplinary and pedagogical standards applicable to each one; the nomenclature of university degrees, diplomas and certificates and the administration of examinations; and criteria and procedures for faculty appointments and promotions.
The Faculty Assembly comprises assistant, associate and full professors. The Assembly appoints two members to the School’s Board of Directors and three to its Academic Council, and also appoints representatives to various boards and committees.
The International Advisory Board, composed of senior executives, helps shape HEC Montréal’s globalization strategy and plays an important role in strengthening its global networks.
