2019 Research and Teaching Awards

November 28, 2019

HEC Montréal celebrated the excellence of its faculty at its 2019 research and teaching awards ceremony on November 27.

Twelve awards were presented this year, including the 2019 Pierre Laurin Research Award, which went to Christian Vandenberghe.

HONORARY PROFESSORS

The ceremony was preceded by a tribute to HEC professors who have retired over the past year. This tradition is an opportunity to grant them the official title of honorary professor and to highlight the contributions they have made to HEC. For 2019, the new honorary professors are Dominique Bouteiller, Alain Gosselin, François Leroux, Jean Nollet, Michel Patry, Thierry Pauchant, Nicole Prieur, Bruno Rémillard, Bernard Sinclair-Desgagné and Jean Talbot.
