HEC Montréal has demonstrated its leadership in management research more than ever, in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Dozens of research projects on topics related to the pandemic are currently underway, with practical applications in a variety of areas including economics, trade, logistics, health system management, technological shift management, work organization and medical research.

Better sharing of risk management responsibilities during a pandemic

Professor Aya Aboelenien and a team of researchers analyzed government and corporate messages to individuals after the imposition of health measures in the spring of 2020. Their objective was to better understand how responsibility for the risk of COVID-19 was shared in the first months of the pandemic and what could be done differently.
