HEC Montréal on the 2nd step of the podium at the Jeux du Commerce

January 12, 2023

The 2023 edition of the Jeux du commerce ended with a great deal of joy for the HEC Montréal delegation, which came in 2nd place overall. The School’s delegation could also claim victory for the successful orchestration of this large-scale event, back in person after two virtual editions.

The interuniversity competition was held from January 6 to 9, and drew some 1,500 participants from 13 eastern Canadian universities. HEC Montréal was represented by a group of 84 Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) students. The School’s teams made the podium in 7 out of 18 events that counted toward the overall score.

The 2023 delegation was co-ordinated by student Sarah-Lorie Bernèche, with support from Anne Bourhis and Jean-François St‑Pierre, of the School’s University Competitions Department.
