HEC Montréal takes the podium at Happening Marketing

The HEC Montréal delegation came in 2nd in the overall rankings of Happening Marketing 2026, which is regarded as the leading interuniversity marketing competition in Eastern Canada. 

The School’s teams were among the top 3 in eight of the competition’s events. Laurence Brossard, a member of the Sports team also won the Female MVP (Most Valuable Player) title.

Nearly 600 people from 12 Canadian universities participated in the event that took place from March 27 to 29, 2026, at the University of Ottawa – Telfer School of Management. The delegation from the School, comprising over 40 Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) students, won plaudits due to its creativity and high-quality presentations.

HEC Montréal thus became one of only two academic institutions in 2025-2026 to be ranked in the top 3 of the four competitions of the Regroupement étudiant des facultés d’administration de l’est du Canada [Students’ Association of Management Faculties of Eastern Canada] (RÉFAEC):

  • Happening Marketing (2nd place)
