The HEC Montréal delegation was ranked first in the division rounds for the two case resolutions presented during the week, confirming its solid performance throughout the competition.
During the event, participating teams were required to solve two complex business cases, each over a 16-hour period, and then defend their recommendations before a panel of academics and executives from the business world. The competition is conducted entirely in English and focuses on the quality of the analyzes, relevance of the recommendations and effectiveness of the presentations.

The team from HEC Montréal consisted of Justine Lortie, Anne-Sophie April, Benjamin Poisson and William Muckle. The students were accompanied by their coach, Samuel Ouellette.

A global competition

Launched in 2010, the International Case Competition @ Maastricht is a globally recognized inter-university event that brings together delegations from universities in Europe, the Americas, Asia and Oceania every year. The competition aims to provide an immersive experience in solving real business cases, while promoting intercultural dialogue and the development of key management skills.
