HEC Montréal celebrated the achievements of nearly 200 graduates from its MBA and the McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA programs on September 15, 2026, during a convocation ceremony held at Claude-Champagne Hall at Université de Montréal.
The ceremony honoured 195 graduates who completed their programs: 150 in the MBA and 45 in the McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA.
A total of 180 graduates attended the event, accompanied by their family members and guests.
Secretary General Johanne Turbide served as Master of Cermonies. HEC Montréal Director General Federico Pasin delivered the opening remarks. He also paid tribute to Professor Jacques Robert following the announcement of his appointment as Professor Emeritus, in the presence of members of his family and close associates.
Two members of the graduating cohorts were also invited to address their peers: Benoit LaPlante, representing the MBA cohort, and Widad Mas, representing the EMBA cohort, accompanied on guitar by fellow cohort member Frank Gilbert.
