HEC Montréal won 3rd place in the Lazaridis International Case Competition (LazsICC), which took place from October 11 to 17, 2026 in Waterloo, Ontario.
Organized by Wilfrid Laurier University, this competition brought together 12 universities from all over the world to solve business cases requiring analysis, strategic thinking, teamwork and the ability to present recommendations before a panel of judges.
The HEC Montréal delegation comprised four Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) students: Laurie-Anne Boucher, Anna Chanal, Tristan Filion and Laurence Leduc.
The team was accompanied by Marie-Élyse Forget, a faculty lecturer in the Department of Marketing and academic supervisor at the University Competitions Service, who served as their coach.
In addition to this collective performance, Laurence Leduc also made her mark by winning the Best Speaker Award, highlighting her excellent individual contribution during the competition.
The School’s University Competitions Service would like to thank all the experts who contributed to the training and preparation of the student delegation, as well as the HEC Montréal Alumni Association for its financial support.
