Case Fight: 2 teams from HEC Montréal step onto the podium

Two student teams in the DESS in Professional Accounting – CPA program at HEC Montréal pulled off brilliant performances in the 2020-2021 edition of the Case Fight. They came 2^nd and 3^rd in the case-writing competition organized by the Ordre des CPA du Québec.

Once again this year, our teams were sponsored by Hugo Lesley, a CPA auditor, CA and full-time lecturer in the Department of Accounting.

According to the rules, the participants, working alone or in teams (maximum of 4 people), had to submit a multidisciplinary case study, in French or in English.

This annual event is aimed at candidates registered in the CPA Professional Education Program. Teams from HEC Montréal have performed extremely well since the 2014-2015 edition of the competition, winning 10 of the 18 awards given out since then.
