HEC Montréal MBA recognized for its commitment to sustainability
CEO Magazine’s 2025 Green MBA Rankings

CEO Magazine has published its 2025 ranking of MBA programs it considers to be champions in sustainability and HEC Montréal is in the top third of this list. This is the highest possible distinction for this ranking.
The British magazine states that its “Green MBA Rankings” showcase the best business schools in the world that are championing sustainable business practices and developing responsible leaders capable of driving meaningful change.
The ranking takes into account various criteria, including the percentage of core MBA courses that focus on ethics, sustainable development or social content. Consideration has also been given to course delivery methods, experiential learning opportunities, university-wide sustainability initiatives/partnerships, research on the subject, and accreditations held by the institution. Finally, the ranking takes into account the proportion of graduates who occupy “impactful” positions.
It is worth noting that for several years now, HEC Montréal has been in the top third of CEO Magazine’s overall MBA rankings.
