HEC Montréal wins the Centraide Solidaires Mobilization award

February 16, 2024

HEC Montréal received an award in the Mobilization category (1,000 plus employees) at the Solidaires award ceremony which was organized by Centraide of Greater Montréal on February 7 this year.

These awards are presented to the companies, agencies and unions that ran outstanding Centraide campaigns in 2023.

The award received by the School specifically recognizes the commitment of the organizing committee, which has made it possible to carry out a planned and structured annual campaign while optimizing the mobilization of employees towards Centraide.

It should be noted that the 50th Centraide campaign at HEC Montréal, which ran from November 20 to December 1, 2023, under the co-chairmanship of Isabelle Le Breton-Miller, Professor in the Department of Management, and François Dunn, Director of the Facilities Management Service, set a record for generosity by raising over $222,000 for Centraide of Greater Montréal, with support from more than 30% of the School’s staff members.

Centraide also raised a record $68.2 million in 2023, which will enable it to support a network of more than 375 community organizations and projects that will provide essential assistance to 1 in 5 people living in poverty in Greater Montréal.
