Europe Alumni Association celebrates its 40th anniversary

June 16, 2026

The HEC Montréal Europe Alumni Association, which has around 15,000 active alumni across Europe, is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, attesting to the vitality of HEC Montréal’s global network.

To mark the occasion, events bringing together members of this community were hosted simultaneously on June 10, 2026, in four European cities: London, Geneva, Rome and Paris.

Memorable anniversary gatherings

In London, a reception took place in the offices of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec with Michel Patry, President and CEO of the HEC Montréal Foundation.

In Geneva, a cocktail party was hosted at the World Trade Organization (WTO), and guests included the School’s Registrar and Senior Director of Academic Programs, Virginie Lefebvre.

In Rome, Natalie Roussel, Executive Director, Office of Communications and Government and International Relations, represented HEC Montréal at the alumni gathering that was held at Pantheon Hotel.

And finally, the Gustave Eiffel Hall in Paris was the venue for the event whose attendees included Federico Pasin, Director General of HEC Montréal.

Building connections

This celebration perfectly illustrates the distinctive identity of HEC Montréal. As a French-language school at the crossroads of North American and European influences, it offers a vibrant environment that fast-tracks talent and ideas onto the global stage. It is in this spirit that HEC Montréal is committed, through initiatives such as those marking the 40th anniversary of the Europe Alumni Association, to connecting continents and cultures by building bridges and creating unique synergies.
