Do you want to meet tomorrow’s consultants as soon as possible? Attend SPRINT Consultation 2024, the recruitment and networking event of the year in the field. Organized by HEC Montréal’s Career Management Services, SPRINT Consultation allows you to meet, network and recruit your future talents directly on campus. As organized in 2023, the 2024 edition will be held in May to allow you to meet your future candidates before the summer!


Course of the event:

5:00 – 5:30 pm:
Employers’ Coffee to interact with other industry professionals prior to the networking blitz sessions.

5:30 – 7:45 pm:
Networking Blitz. Each recruiter meets with a small group of students, 1 to 3 at a time, around a table for 20 minutes. In all, 6 sessions of 20 minutes will be offered, for a total of 2 hours and 15 minutes (including a 15-minute break between the third and fourth session).

Session Goals and Content:

  • Introducing the firm and job or internship opportunities;
  • Having students introduce themselves, their backgrounds and their interest in the firm;
  • Answer students’ questions about the firm, job offers, culture, work environment, challenges, requirements, etc.
  • Students will have access to the list of firms as well as the positions posted on the My Career portal(*) to take notes and prepare specific questions;
  • A cocktail will be served during the networking sessions;

(*) Provided that offers are posted by May 9, 2023.

8:00 – 9:00 pm:
Cocktail reception and informal networking period between students and employers.

  • This additional period allows you to meet potential candidates who did not have the chance to reserve one of the 18 spots during the blitz networking or to continue the discussion with the people you met during the sessions.

Who are the talents attending?

  • High potential students ("high achievers") in academic, professional and extracurricular activities.
  • The participating students will be selected beforehand on the basis of their CVs in order to prioritize the candidates as follows:
    • For permanent positions: December 2024 and Spring 2025 BA and MSc graduates, September or December 2024 MBA graduates;
    • For summer jobs, internships and supervised projects: 2025 and 2026 graduates.
