Office of the secretary General

The Secretary General is responsible for secretariat services for the School’s administration and for the related committees and subcommittees. She is responsible for legal affairs and compliance with the legislation governing the School.

The Secretary General handles the management, dissemination and conservation of the School’s official and constituting documents and is responsible for access to information.

She also acts as the School’s ambassador to various academic and government communities, the private sector and outside organizations. She is the Secretary of the HEC Montréal Board of Directors and chairs the Classification Committee. She also deals with requests for accommodation.

Lastly, she is responsible for the strategy and implementation of the HEC Montréal Sustainable Development Action Plan and is the School’s spokesperson on this issue.

To carry out this mandate, the Secretary General co-ordinates, organizes and supervises the activities of the following units:
