Excellence scholarships

HEC Montréal Foundation, through generous donators, and Quebec Ministry of Higher Education enable the School to award annual scholarships to encourage student participation in the Campus Abroad program.

The application must include a letter of intent of maximum 300 words.

The evaluation criteria are as follows:

  • Ability to be a good ambassador for HEC Montréal;
  • Quality of the letter of intent;
  • Excellent academic record.

These scholarships are available to students in MBA, BBA, Certificate, MSc and DESS programs.

Financial support scholarships

Amounts: 3000 $ and 4000 $

Through the Global Skills Opportunity (GSO) program, HEC Montréal awards financial support scholarships to participants in the Campus Abroad course. The overall objective of the GSO program is to increase the number of Canadian students who have an academic experience abroad.

The program is particularly interested in supporting low-income students:

  • Those who declare that they are receiving student financial assistance from the Quebec government
  • Persons who, in the absence of non-repayable student financial assistance, can provide information demonstrating that they require financial assistance to participate in an academic experience abroad.

The program is open to BBA students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents.

To be eligible for a GSO scholarship, you must complete the appropriate section of the application form for the Campus Abroad course.
