Financial Assistance for Miscellaneous Research Activities
Based on funds availability, the Research Knowledge and Transfer Office can offer a one-time financial assistance to a research faculty member to conduct a specific research activity. The professor must demonstrate the importance of the research activity and justify the need for financial assistance.

Eligibility Criteria
|
- Be a HEC Montréal research faculty member.
- Not hold special research funds (FSR) the balance of which is equal or superior to the requested amount, except for the first three years following the hiring of a new research faculty member.
- Not hold a professorship accompanied by a research grant.
- Not be a chairholder.

Evaluation Criteria
|
- Actual need for funding (taking into account any available funds and their expected use).
- Outcomes of previous Financial Assistance for Miscellaneous Research Activities, if applicable.

Application
|
- If the application is associated with an article, the application must include an abstract or the complete text of the article, a copy of the estimate or bill for the revision or translation (attached to the form).
- Must be submitted using this form and sent to the following address: demande.recherche@hec.ca.
- Please allow at least 10 business days to process the application.
