Letter of intent
A document answering the following question: Where would you like to take your career after completing an MBA at HEC Montréal? (500 words maximum).
If you have already applied for admission, you must also answer the following question: How has your application changed since the last time you applied? Be sure to tell us about any changes in your work, study, or volunteer experience (250 words maximum).
Video essays
Within a week of submitting your application, you will receive a link to the Kira Talent online platform. From there, you will be asked to spontaneously answer four pre-recorded questions. These video essays will help us get to know you better.
Letters of recommendation
Two letters of recommendation completed using form from the Registrar’s Office.
At least one of the letters must testify to your professional skills and ideally come from a supervisor.
Official results of an admission test
Official results from one of the following tests: GMAT, TAGE MAGE, GRE.
Proof that language requirements are met
Programs in English
If necessary, you could be required to provide the results of a English test or program corresponding to an intermediate-advanced level that you obtained within the past two years. Official results of tests taken outside HEC Montréal must be sent directly by the issuing organization.
Programs in French
If necessary, you could be required to provide the results of a French test or program corresponding to an intermediate-advanced level that you obtained within the past two years. Official results of tests taken outside HEC Montréal must be sent directly by the issuing organization.
