Conductors: The Art of Leadership
Professor Martin Boyer from HEC Montréal’s Department of Finance has just been appointed Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Risk and Insurance (JRI), a leading international journal in the field of insurance and risk management.
JRI has been published since 1933 and is one of the two flagship publications of the prestigious American Risk and Insurance Association (ARIA), the largest association in the world devoted to the study of different insurance markets and corporate risk management.
The scientific journal is also renowned for its great academic rigor and significant contribution to literature.
Martin Boyer will succeed Professor Emerita Joan Schmit. Professor Georges Dionne, also from the Department of Finance, was Editor-in-Chief of the same journal from 2007 to 2012.
Professor Boyer’s appointment as Editor-in-Chief of the JRI cements HEC Montréal’s prominent position in risk and insurance management.
