Conductors: The Art of Leadership
The Multidisciplinary Institute for Cybersecurity and Cyber Resilience (IMC2) created by Polytechnique Montréal in partnership with HEC Montréal and Université de Montréal, and whose Deputy director is Alina Dulipovici, Associate Professor in the School’s Department of Information Technologies, received its first major donation from Google.org.
The announcement was made on January 25 at a press conference organized in the tech giant’s Montréal offices.
“Cybersecurity has become a key concern for managers. What can we improve the protection of sensitive data? How can we improve the cyber resilience of organizations and, more broadly, of our society? These are the questions that keep them awake. Google’s donation will enable IMC2 researchers to tackle the various aspects of these key issues.”

Marc Gervais, Executive Director, IMC2, opines that Google’s interests are not merely limited to the exciting projects that this grant will help finance. The technology company seems keen on playing a major role in supporting cybersecurity in Quebec, and it looks upon IMC2 as a key partner for the future.
