UNICON chooses Executive Education HEC Montréal to host the world’s academic elite

From today until December 1, 2023, 260 delegates from 75 academic institutions worldwide will gather at the Hélène Desmarais Building to participate in the Team Development Conference of UNICON, a global consortium of business‐school‐based executive education organizations.
For the next three days, the School will be a focal point for global knowledge as it hosts prestigious institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Harvard University and Stanford University.
The primary objective of this edition is to discuss the best practices for collaboration, and the continuing evolution of executive education. Three main themes will be explored:
- Major challenges worldwide, with particular emphasis on talent shortages.
- Technological advancements, including generative AI and related innovations.
- The future landscape of education and learning.
The global consortium’s decision to choose HEC Montréal as the host of this year’s UNICON conference further reinforces one of the School’s strategic roles of developing short-term and diploma programs in continuing education, a requirement that is increasingly in demand worldwide. This choice also highlights its international reputation as a centre of excellence and reflection in the field of executive education.
