HEC Montréal Ranks 3rd Worldwide for Case Study Competitions in 2022

Student teams from the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program have performed remarkably well during various international case competitions in 2022. A compilation by the University of Auckland, New Zealand, reveals that out of almost 60 universities or business schools in the undergraduate competition circuit, HEC Montréal ranks 3rd in the world – along with National University of Singapore (NUS).
The first 2 places are held by the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) and Corvinus University of Budapest.
According to this compilation, participating schools could accumulate points (between 0 and 6 points per event) based upon the achieved results. HEC Montréal earned a total of 18 points.
This gives cause for us to recall the stellar rankings of our BBA teams in 2022:
- 1st place at the Heavener International Case Competition in Gainesville, Florida
- 2nd place at the RSM Star Case Competition in Rotterdam
- 2nd place at the Business and Management Case Competition in Guadalajara
- 1st place at the Alberta International Business Competition in Jasper.
The fact that HEC Montréal won at least one of the ten qualifying competitions during 2022 guarantees its participation in the Champions Trophy Case Competition, which will take place in Auckland, New Zealand, from February 1 to 4.
