Excellence bursary awarded to student athlete Alexandre St-Arneault

HEC Montréal student athlete Alexandre St-Arneault has been awarded a $4,000 National Bank bursary through the Fondation de l’athlète d’excellence du Québec (FAEQ), in recognition for his outstanding academic results.

As part of the 30th edition of the National Bank Bursary Program, individual bursaries totalling $126,000 were awarded to 38 student athletes.

While pursuing a high-level sports career in karate, Alexandre St-Arneault is enrolled at HEC Montréal in the maîtrise en gestion (M. Sc.) – Intelligence d’affaires program. Since the start of his studies, he has managed to maintain a 3.5 out of 4.3 grade point average.

Looking ahead, he hopes to pursue a career as an analytical data expert working within a company.
