Throughout 2020, over 30 members of our School’s student community earned scholarships from the Quebec CPA Foundation.
The scholarships were awarded in support of students pursuing the specific professional chartered accountant (CPA) academic trajectory. Some offer financial support, while others constitute awards of excellence.
Five of our students received undergraduate university scholarships. To be eligible, they were required to have completed at least 30 credits in a bachelor’s degree program that’s recognized by the Quebec CPA Order, and to have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 2.8/4.3 or higher.
Applicants were also required to be voluntarily involved in social and extracurricular activities during their programs of study.

After 2 rounds of scholarship awards presentations (in spring and autumn), a total of 26 members of HEC Montréal’s student community had received scholarships of accompaniment towards success.
This scholarship program is designed for students who require financial assistance in order to cover all the costs related to their studies leading to earning the CPA designation.
To be eligible for such scholarships, students must be registered, or in the process of registering, for the CPA Professional Education Program, or must have begun the course equivalence process.
