HEC Montréal celebrates its 2020 graduates

HEC Montréal saluted the achievements of 5,068 students who graduated in 2020 from all levels. Five convocation ceremonies were held, from November 8 to 11, at the School’s Amphithéâtre Banque Nationale.

The ceremonies were attended by 544 of the graduates, along with their guests.

Secretary General Johanne Turbide served as MC. HEC Montréal Director Federico Pasin also attended the events.

The dignitaries included the Université de Montréal Rector, Daniel Jutras, Secretary General Alexandre Chabot and the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of HEC Montréal, Hélène Desmarais.

The November 8 convocation was also the occasion to award 2 honorary doctorates to Jacynthe Côté and Pauline Marois.


In addition, 5 Professor Emeritus were officially appointed during the week: Réal Jacob, Ann Langley, Gilbert Laporte, Michel Patry and Jean Talbot.
