Carabins Gala Méritas: 8 HEC Montréal student athletes honoured
Maxyme Nobert named Rookie of the Year for team sports

Eight HEC Montréal students received awards at the 2018–2019 season Gala Méritas of the Université de Montréal Carabins Excellence in Sports Program on April 29. The Gala was held virtually this year, because of the COVID-19 crisis.
Soccer player Maxyme Nobert (Certificate in Business Management) stood out, earning the Rookie of the Year award for team sports. In 2019–2020, she was not only named to the Quebec rookie all-star team, but also scored ten goals in the regular season. She tied for the most goals scored in the league with teammate Mégane Sauvé, a Université de Montréal student.
