CoMIS competition: the School’s delegation makes the podium

The HEC Montréal team of BBA students Sarah Charles, Marianne Frigault and Maha Masmoudi took third place at CoMIS 2017, held last weekend at the Carlson School of Management in Minneapolis. Nineteen teams from three continents – North America, Europe and Asia – faced off in the 6th edition of this case competition. This year’s theme was the Internet of objects.
They had 24 hours to read the real-life business case involving both strategy and information technology and come up with a solution. Then they had to present their recommendations to the jury and answer questions. The School’s team impressed the jury with their imaginative, inspiring and practical solution.
