Student card

SITUATIONS IN WHICH THE CARD IS MANDATORY

You will need it, for example:

  • To identify yourself during in-class examinations or to a security officer or any other official School representative;
  • To borrow documents at the Library;
  • To participate in certain HEC Montréal activities;
  • To rent audiovisual equipment;
  • To access computer labs, the HEC Montréal buildings outside normal business hours, and the CEPSUM sports complex at the University of Montreal).

The student card is actually two cards in one. On one side is the HEC Montréal student card and on the other is the Coop HEC Montréal card (in French only). However, you’re under no obligation to become a Coop HEC Montréal member.

To get or modify your card

Go to the places and on the dates indicated.

  • Show your valid photo ID.
  • Provide you student number.

Winter Term

Starting Monday, January 15, 2024
At the Coop HEC Montréal boutique in the Côte-Sainte-Catherine building, during its opening hours.

At the Bistro-Traiteur Coop HEC Montréal in the Hélène Desmarais building (level 1), Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Summer Term

Starting, Wednesday, May 1, 2024
At the Coop HEC Montréal boutique in the Côte-Sainte-Catherine building, according to its opening hours.

Please note

  • The student card is the property of HEC Montréal. It must be returned on request.
  • In the event you lose your card, you will have to pay $10 to get a new one.
