Fire

If you see flames or smoke:

1. Pull the closest manual fire alarm.
2. Call 911 immediately.
3. Call Security Service: 514-340-6611.
4. If it is safe to do so, try to contain the flames with a fire extinguisher.
5. If the fire and smoke continue to spread, evacuate the building through the closest exit.
6. Close and lock the doors when leaving.
7. Proceed to the meeting site.

Prevention

• Become familiar with two staircases or two evacuation routes near your activities.
• Know the location of the nearest manual fire alarm.
• Know the location of the nearest portable fire extinguisher.
• Become familiar with the evacuation plans available on each floor.
