Executive Education: Dominique Anglade and Luciano Barin Cruz appointed Directors of Executive Education HEC Montréal

Montreal, September 16, 2025 – HEC Montréal announces the appointments of Dominique Anglade and Luciano Barin Cruz as Directors of Executive Education HEC Montréal, effective October 6, 2025. They will serve as Executive Director and Academic Executive Director respectively.

Dominique Anglade and Luciano Barin Cruz will join forces to enhance the impact that Executive Education HEC Montréal can have on major local, regional and global issues. In recent years, Executive Education HE Montréal has established itself as an international benchmark in executive education by successfully implementing initiatives such as:
- Creative Destruction Lab (CDL-Montréal) and NEXT AI, incubation and growth engines for tech start-ups;
- First Nations Executive Education (FNEE), co-created with First Nations;
- École des dirigeants Afrique, launched in 2025 in collaboration with BEM Executive Education.
These initiatives, led by HEC Montréal and its ecosystem, provide a solid foundation for shaping the future of leadership and executive education. They will carry on being rolled out by Dominique Anglade and Lucian Barin Cruz with the same rigor and ambition, in order to support the emergence of talent, promote organizational growth and create a sustainable impact in communities, both here and abroad.
About Dominique Anglade
Dominique Anglade holds a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from the École Polytechnique de Montréal and an MBA from HEC Montréal. Prior to joining the School as an Adjunct Professor in 2023, she assumed several corporate leadership roles during her career at Procter & Gamble, Nortel and McKinsey, and as CEO of Montréal International. She has served as Minister of Economic Development, Innovation and Export Trade, Deputy Premier of Quebec and party leader.
About Luciano Barin Cruz
Luciano Barin Cruz is a Professor in the Department of Management and Director of IDEOS (HEC Montréal’s Social Impact Hub) and has been working at the School since 2009. Over the years, he has distinguished himself through the quality of his teaching in executive education and his ability to support organizations in their strategic orientations. His international background has led him to collaborate on projects with global organizations from the private and not-for-profit sectors. He plays a key role in the School’s partnership with the University of Oxford and leads the SEED network, dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of organizations in developing regions, including Africa, Latin America and South Asia.
