HEC Montréal distinguished itself at the 2026 edition of the Asper Business Case Competition, a major student case-solving contest held in Winnipeg from February 18 to 22.
Organized by the University of Manitoba, the event brings together MBA students from leading business schools each year and challenges them to tackle real strategic issues in a highly competitive environment.
The delegation representing HEC Montréal earned 3rd place. The team stood out for the rigour of its analysis, the relevance of its recommendations, and the quality of its presentation before the panels of judges.
The team was composed of Quynh Phuong Vu, Maxime Bourdeau, Guillaume René, and Kassandra Cyrenne, under the supervision of their coach, Nimara Ashbah.

Organized by the I.H. Asper School of Business, the Asper Business Case Competition brings together university teams each year to rapidly analyse complex organizational challenges and propose actionable recommendations. The event is recognized for its high level of rigour and for the quality of its judges from the business community.
