BBA convocation ceremony

HEC Montréal recently marked the success of the graduates who completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degrees in the Winter 2025 term.
Three convocation ceremonies were held on May 12 and 13, 2025, at Théâtre Maisonneuve in Place des Arts:
- On May 12, at 10 a.m. for the following specializations: International Business, Business Analysis/IT - Business Analytics, Accounting, Applied Economics, Applied Economics/Finance and Maths and Entrepreneurship;
- On May 12, at 3 p.m. for the following specializations: Finance, Project Management, Logistics and Operations Management, Human Resources Management, Business Intelligence, Management, Marketing and Sustainability Transition;
- On May 13, at 3 p.m. for the following specializations: Mixed Option and Personalized Option.
In all, 3,140 people attended both ceremonies, including graduates and their friends and families.
The Secretary General of HEC Montréal, Johanne Turbide, acted as the master of ceremonies. The dignitaries who spoke at the event included Federico Pasin, Director of HEC Montréal, Justin Leroux, Director of the BBA program, and Jean-François St-Pierre, representative of the HEC Montréal Alumni Association.
Three members of the 2025 cohort, Victoria Majeau, Laurence Deschênes and Serge Anthony Maa, were invited to speak before their classmates at each of the ceremonies.
At the 3 p.m. convocation ceremony on May 12, an honorary doctorate was also awarded to Madeleine Careau, former CEO of the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal and an influential businesswoman in Quebec’s cultural scene. A video in honour of her achievements was shown during the ceremony:
