HEC Montréal launches new short graduate program in taxation

As of winter 2027, HEC Montréal will expand its master’s level training programs to include a new short graduate program in taxation.

Especially relevant for professionals in accounting, law, economics or finance, this program will enable them to deepen their knowledge of taxation, which is at the heart of business decisions.

Training focused on the fundamentals of taxation

The program will help develop an understanding of key tax concepts and the links between taxation, law and accounting. Enrolled individuals will also be introduced to tax law research in order to better analyze complex situations and provide informed recommendations.

A flexible and adaptable format

Offered on a part-time basis through in-person and hybrid formats, this program is designed for professionals wishing to gain more in-depth knowledge of taxation while balancing studies and work.

Under certain conditions, the 12 credits earned in this program can be counted as part of a Graduate Diploma in Taxation, and then an MA in Law (LLM) – Tax option.
