The School celebrates the success of 1,727 BBA graduates

HEC Montréal marked the success of the graduates who completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degrees in the Winter 2026 term.

Two convocation ceremonies were held on May 19, 2026, at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier in Place des Arts, at 10 a.m. and at 3 p.m. 

In all, 3,820 people attended both ceremonies, including graduates and their friends and families.

The Secretary General of HEC Montréal, Johanne Turbide, acted as the master of ceremonies. The dignitaries who spoke at the event included Hélène Demarais, Chair of the HEC Montréal Board of Directors, Federico Pasin, Director of HEC Montréal, Justin Leroux, Director of the BBA program, and Anne Bourhis, professor and representative of the HEC Montréal Alumni Association.

Two members of the 2026 cohort, Olivier Guertin and Clara Langevin, were invited to speak before their classmates at each of the ceremonies.

The 3 p.m. convocation ceremony was also the occasion to officially proclaim the appointment of Gilbert Babin and Robert Gagné as Professor Emeritus.
