Celebrating the Success of Graduate-Level Cohorts

HEC Montréal proudly celebrated the achievements of 1,347 graduates from its graduate programs during a convocation ceremony held on December 1, 2025, at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier, Place des Arts.

In total, nearly 577 graduates from the Master of Science (MSc), professional master’s programs, and the Graduate Diploma in Specialized Studies (D.E.S.S.) attended the event, accompanied by their loved ones.

The ceremony was also an opportunity for the School to award an honorary doctorate to John P. Meyer, professor at Western University and a leading authority in organizational psychology.

Johanne Turbide, Secretary General of HEC Montréal, served as master of ceremonies. The School’s Director, Federico Pasin, was in attendance, along with François Bellavance, Director of Academic Programs; Sihem Taboubi, Director of the MSc program; and Suzanne Landry, Director of Graduate Diplomas and Certificates.

Among the dignitaries from Université de Montréal were Frantz Saintellemy, Chancellor and Chair of the Board; Pascale Lefrançois, Senior Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Studies; and Alexandre Chabot, Secretary General.

Several HEC Montréal faculty members also joined the procession of dignitaries on stage.

Certificate Programs

The convocation ceremony for certificates and Bachelor of Management degrees by accumulated certificates took place on December 2, 2025.
