Samuel Sponem Appointed President of the CAAA

Associate Professor of the Accounting Sciences Department and holder of the CPA International Research Chair in Management Control, Samuel Sponem, has been appointed President of the Canadian Academic Accounting Association (CAAA). His one-year mandate began on June 5, 2020.

The CAAA was founded in 1976 to promote excellence in accounting research and academics. Its mission is to foster a community that creates, communicates and advances accounting knowledge in the public interest.
