Our MBA ranked 3rd in Canada and 30th in the world by Poets&Quants

HEC Montréal is in the top 30 of the best non-US MBAs, according to the latest Poet&Quants ranking, released in late 2018.
What’s more, our MBA ranks 3rd in Canada, after the University of Western Ontario (Ivey) and York University (Schulich).
The ranking by the US web magazine rates the quality of MBA programs worldwide by combining data from five of the most influential international lists: those of Bloomberg Businessweek, U.S. News & World Report, The Financial Times, Forbes and The Economist.
Poets&Quants weights each of these rankings on its credibility and the quality of its methodology, to come up with its own list. According to the US magazine, this approach tends to favour schools that obtain consistent results across all five rankings and to penalize those that shop for the best ranking they can get and avoid the lists where they are less likely to do well.
