Selected moments with Omar Aktouf

Professor Omar Aktouf will be one of 75 public figures added to the digital collection entitled Ils ont dit… Moments choisis des archives de Radio-Canada  this summer, and will be available for listening this coming fall.

Produced by the Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ) in co-operation with Radio-Canada, the digital collection is accessible through the BAnQ portal. It contains excerpts from interviews or speeches by central figures in the recent history of Quebec and the rest of Canada in the arts, economics and business, language and literature, politics, social sciences, humanities, science and technology and sport.

The collection already includes Jacques Parizeau, former Quebec Premier and Honorary Professor, François-Albert Angers, Professor from 1938 to 1974, and Marie-Éva de Villers, Director of the Quality of Communication Centre. By the time it is complete in 2011, the collection will include 375 figures.
