Contemporary Research in Entrepreneurship

The course covers a broad range of research topics and methodological issues that are of particular relevance for understanding entrepreneurship's unique aspects, inner dynamics, and contributions to the managerial sciences.
After completing this course, you should be able to:

- Demonstrate a keen understanding of the breadth of entrepreneurship research;

- Identify, define, explain and synthesize key research topics associated with entrepreneurship research, describing what we know about these topics, but also what we still don't know (and the reasons why these challenges remain);

- Offer critical assessments of the field's key authors / papers and their contributions, as well as of the main trends currently taking shape within the field;

- Know how to address theoretical and methodological challenges commonly encountered in (though not necessarily specific to) entrepreneurship research;

- Synthesize extant literature to develop meaningful research questions.
