Recognized for his use of the case method, he taught at HEC Montréal for 17 years and directed the MBA program before taking the helm of the School. As Director (1972–1974), he created the joint PhD program (McGill, UQAM and Sir George Williams University). He penned numerous business cases and a dozen books on teaching methods applied to management and SMB issues. He also served as Director of the executive training centre from 1968 to 1969.
