During her career at HEC Montréal (1963–1999), she was a Professor with the Institute of Applied Economics. She specializes in pay equity and has produced several studies on this issue. At the same time, she has been a consultant for businesses seeking to comply with the Pay Equity Act and has authored or co-authored several publications on women in the workforce.
