His many successful initiatives as Director (1987–1994) included updating the School’s study programs, strengthening its bonds with the business world both nationally and internationally, and planning and starting construction on HEC Montréal’s third home, on chemin de la Côte-Sainte-Catherine. He also served as Director of the Department of Finance (1978–1984) and held the Chair of Small and Medium-Sized Business Development (1975).
