International rankings: HEC Montréal MBA one of the best in the world according to the Poets&Quants and QS Global 250 rankings

January 13, 2017

The School’s MBA continues to be recognized as an outstanding program in international rankings, particularly for its graduates’ employability.

Poets&Quants

Poets&Quants ranks our MBA 30th in its list of the top non-US MBA programs in 2016.

This is the seventh year that HEC Montréal has made this list, which is based on rankings by Bloomberg Businessweek, Forbes, The Economist and The Financial Times.

Poets&Quants uses a system that takes into account quantitative and qualitative data (surveys of corporate recruiters, MBA graduates and deans, university publications, employment statistics, graduates’ salaries, etc.) and weights them according to their methodologies, strengths and weaknesses.

QS Global 250

HEC Montréal is 94th among the world’s top business schools (in 36 different countries), according to the QS Global 250 ranking. The School’s MBA stands out by qualifying in the Top-Tier Employability quadrant, listing programs with the highest employability scores.

The QS Global 250 Business Schools Report is based on two international surveys. The first covers employers who hire MBA graduates, while the second gathers data from university professors and researchers in the management and business fields.
