HEC Montréal’s 2025 Centraide Campaign Reaches a New Milestone of Solidarity

The Centraide campaign held at HEC Montréal from November 19 to December 3 raised a total of $224,569.71, surpassing its initial goal of $195,000. This achievement highlights the School community’s continued commitment to Centraide’s mission supporting hundreds of organizations across Greater Montréal.

The campaign was co-chaired by Michèle Breton, Professor and Director of the Department of Decision Sciences, and Bernard Bizimana, Director of the HEC Montréal Library. Both were able to rely on the outstanding involvement of colleagues, volunteers, and partners throughout the initiative.

The campaign brought together 279 contributors, including 255 active staff members and 19 retired employees. The HEC Montréal community now counts 68 Centraide Leaders, including 20 new leaders who committed to an annual donation of at least $1,200.
In addition, the Graduate Student Association (Association des étudiant(e)s aux cycles supérieurs) supported the campaign with a contribution of $2,000.
Fundraising activities also played a key role in this year’s success. The closing show, street performers, spaghetti lunch, yoga sessions, and 50/50 draw raised a total of $7,711.35, while fostering moments of connection within the community.
Thanks to this collective effort, HEC Montréal reaffirms its commitment to Centraide and its determination to actively contribute to a more inclusive and caring society.
