Humanitarian week: record-breaking collection
$210,500 raised for Moisson Montréal
November 11, 2025
HEC Montréal’s first year Bachelor’s degree (BAA) students collected $210,500 during a fundraising drive for Moisson Montréal. This year’s impressive haul set a new record for Humanitarian Week, which is held annually at the School. Never before has such a large sum been raised in previous years.
The HEC Montréal tradition of Humanitarian Week combines personal growth, cooperation and involvement and it marks a key moment in every student’s journey at the School. This fundraising drive was organized entirely by members of the student community, under the coordination of the HEC Montréal Students Association (AEHEC) and the Comité sports et loisirs (CSL Elevate). The whole event took place over ten days at the end of September 2025.

“Food aid is more than just providing a meal. It also very often serves as an entry point into the welfare system, offering a range of resources to those in need. The efforts of our student community will help nearly 300 agencies in Montréal, with $3 million worth of food being distributed.”
