Two HEC Montréal student athletes received scholarships for academic excellence from the Fondation de l’athlète d’excellence du Québec (FAEQ) this fall.
They are Tristan Jussaume, who received a $4,000 scholarship from Planète Courrier, an event partner, and Justin Carpentier, also winning a $4,000 scholarship, from event sponsor Stelpro.
Justin Carpentier, enrolled in the Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) program, is a competitive snowboarder (alpine).
Tristan Jussaume is a road racing cyclist and is also enrolled in a certificate program at HEC Montréal.
This scholarship is connected to the Bonneville 808 Challenge, a cycling event organized by the Fondation de l’athlète d’excellence du Québec (FAEQ), held in the Mont-Tremblant region in September.
All in all, 53 student athletes shared a total of $173,000 awarded by 21 event sponsors and partners.
