The supervised project offers various means to showcase the knowledge acquired. The "applied" dimension of projects constitutes the main characteristic of the supervised project stream. This can consist of an intervention mandate within an organisation or a research mandate within the university.
The supervised project offers various means to showcase the knowledge they acquired. The "applied" dimension of projects constitutes the first characteristic of the supervised project stream. This can consist of an intervention mandate within an organisation (analysis work, intervention and recommendations with the use of support tools such as observation, interviews, surveys, documentary research) or a research mandate within the university (research mandate, case writing or expert opinion).
Themes covered
The supervised project in one of the following forms:
A mandate to intervene in an organization (making a diagnosis; Participating in the planning and implementation of management practices; Designing tools and models that can be used as the basis for decision-making; Performance analysis of an organisation's activities; Making recommendations on a problem).
A university mandate (1) the study of a case; 2) a specific search mandate.

This course covers the concepts, analytical tools, and artificial intelligence (AI) approaches applied to the supply chain. The topics include descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics, as well as the use of generative artificial intelligence to accelerate the development, explanation, and adaptation of analytical solutions.
In particular, the themes addressed include retail analytics, distribution analytics, and the management of disruptions in the supply chain. The course places particular emphasis on the integration of artificial intelligence, both for modelling logistics problems and for AI-assisted programming. Students will acquire analytical and practical skills to apply these methods in various sectors such as manufacturing, retail, omnichannel commerce and transportation. Python is the central language for implementation, while tools such as Power BI complement the learning. This course also uses generative AI tools to demonstrate how such analytical tools can be built. In teams, students will develop prototypes of analytical tools for the supply chain.
Themes covered
Introduction to Analytics and AI in Supply Chains (Key definitions potential applications risks and responsibilities)
Descriptive Supply Chain Analytics (metrics and key performance indicators data visualization introduction to unsupervised learning and building interactive dashboards with Power BI)
Predictive Supply Chain Analytics (demand forecasting using external data sources with an introduction to supervised learning methods)
Prescriptive Supply Chain (analytics Inventory and pricing optimization online fulfillment optimization along with the formulation and solution of optimization models)
Managing Supply Chain Uncertainty (simulation and stochastic optimization pre-event risk mitigation strategies and post-event recovery planning)
Hands-on Programming Workshops with Python and Generative AI (introduction to Python; programming basic analytical pipelines; understanding and adapting complex analytical pipelines; using GAI to debug and generate code)
This seminar covers central topics of empirical research in supply chain management such as buyer-supplier relationships, supply chain and purchasing strategy, supply chain risk management and sustainability, information technology influence on supply chains and links with business performance.
We will review the classic literature and the recent research developments pertaining to supply chain management (SCM) including quantitative (survey and secondary data research), qualitative (case studies) and conceptual papers. Articles using mathematical modeling and studies of applied operations research techniques will not be covered. Supply chain management being a wide-ranging field, theoretical lens from other areas of research will often be discussed within the seminar (e.g., resource-based view of the firm, relational view, and transaction cost economics). A particular emphasis will be given to methodological challenges of SCM empirical research. The objective is to help participants to develop critical and creative thinking that fosters rigorous and innovative empirical research in SCM.
Themes covered
1. Overview of empirical research techniques in SCM
2. Buyer-supplier relationships: typologies and evolution of buyer-supplier relationships antecedents and outcomes of buyer-supplier relationships networks.
3. Supplier development
4. Purchasing and supply chain strategy
5. IT and supply chain management
6. Supply chain risk management
7. Sustainable supply chain
8. Supply chain management and firm performance
This course introduces the main strategies, approaches, tools, and practices in integrated supply chain management, along with challenges in their implementation. The goal of the course is to provide students with the necessary tools for the analysis of longitudinal and survival data.
The main characteristic of survival analysis and longitudinal studies is that subjects are followed over time, thereby allowing to study the evolution of some phenomenon of interest. This course will focus on the fundamental concepts for analyzing survival and correlated data and present statistical methods that account for the temporal dynamics, correlation and partial information they present. Throughout the course, methods will be illustrated using concrete examples drawn from several areas of management. Practical considerations will be emphasized so that the student can carry out a thorough analysis of survival and correlated data by the end of the course.
Themes covered
1. Non-parametric survival analysis
2. Parametric models for survival analysis
3. Cox proportional hazards model and extensions
4. Recurrent events and correlated survival times
5. Linear models for longitudinal data: covariance structure and random effects
6. Generalized linear models for longitudinal data: covariance structure and random effects
7. Missing data
This course focuses on issues relating to sustainability and ESG (environmental, social, and governance) factors during the implementation of strategy and strategic action. We will address these issues by underscoring their impact and the related challenges for developing a strategic action plan and the manager's role in executing a strategy.
We explore how these issues impact the link between strategy and the company's organization, with an emphasis on the role the company plays in implementing a strategy with sustainability as a competitive advantage. We will then address how these issues can be accounted for in the development of a strategic action plan. Lastly, we will examine the manager's role in the implementation and execution of a strategy with ESG imperatives.
Themes covered
The Strategy and Organization link in the context of sustainability
Levers for implementing corporate sustainability strategies
The challenges of strategic change in the context of sustainability: the perspective of business sectors and subsidiaries
Develop a strategic action plan
The ESG imperatives of action and strategic leadership

Those who object to growth are opposed to "sustainable development" projects, which they consider insufficient at best, and harmful at worst. This course is the chance to discover their main arguments for sustainable degrowth, to debate these ideas, and to present and discuss the major points of degrowth policy.
The main objective of this course is to introduce management students in the MBA program to "sustainable degrowth," which is a stream of political thought, a social movement, and a burgeoning field of research. Those who object to growth are opposed to "sustainable development" projects, which they consider insufficient at best, and harmful at worst. This course is the chance to discover their main arguments for sustainable degrowth and to debate them, and to present and discuss the major points of degrowth policy. This radical political proposal has garnered increasing interest in public discourse over the past 20 years; managers at least need to understand sustainable degrowth, as they will likely encounter it more frequently. Taking an interest in degrowth helps us better understand the foundations of our societies and to explore ways of thinking and acting that are very different from what we are accustomed to.
Themes covered
Ecological critique of growth
Social and economic critique of growth
Political critique of growth
Degrowth strategies
The commons option (self-production communalization cooperation democratization)
The low-tech process and relocalizing the economy
